Congratulations to AMTEC partner, Caren Caton, on winning the HI-TEC Industry Award 2010, Caren is the Assistant General Manager for Toyota Motor Engineering & Manufacturing North America Production Support Center (NAPSC) in Georgetown, KY.
"Caren was one of the founding leaders and visionaries of AMTEC" says Annette Parker, AMTEC Principal Investigator. "Caren is an anchor for AMTEC. She embraced the AMTEC collaboration model by being the first of our industry partners to open their facility and share its non-proprietary education and training activities with the partners. We believe this event was very instrumental in the AMTEC you see today. She continues to provide strong leadership on our Strategy Board and Leadership Team as well as contributing the time and expertise of members of her staff to help build a national automotive manufacturing curriculum thereby investing in tomorrow's global automotive workforce."
Caren will be presented with the Industry Award at the HI-TEC Conference luncheon in Orlando, Florida Wednesday, July 28.
